Juxta app for iPhone and iPad

When a friend is near, Juxta is here! Juxta is a non-intrusive location app that notifies you when a friend, work colleague, spouse or family member is near. Use Juxta on 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi to connect with your contacts! This app is completely free :) This app doesn’t use maps or send your exact location, thats the fun of it!

Juxta Features:
*  Contacts from phone book : Juxta imports all of your contacts in from your phone book and lets you know which of your contacts have the app. No need to remember usernames and passwords, Juxta uses your phone number. 


*  Privacy: You need to send users a location request which needs to be accepted before you can see if your contacts are near! Remove a contact at any point.

*  Set distances for contacts: Set distance for your contacts and know when they are within a certain distance of you. It also works internationally in KM.

*  Profile: set your own profile picture and status for all your contacts to see.


*  Groups : Create groups based on fixed locations or distance from you. The possibilities are endless. 


*  Communication: If a contact is near your location, send them a text message or call them via the app.

Juxta only works on mobile devices with a telephone number, so iPhones are the only supported devices. 
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
